Naples, a Cocktail of sensations and flavors

The Aperitif and Cocktails in Naples are a sensorial experience

Naples, a city that captivates the senses with its vibrancy and timeless charm, where narrow streets reveal ancient secrets and the vivid facades tell millennial stories. But there is something magical in the air of this city that goes beyond architecture and history. Here, sunset blends with the sound of cheerful chatter, while squares and bars come alive with the preparation of authentic and irresistible cocktails.
The aperitif in Naples is not just a matter of drinks: it is an experience that engages all the senses. It is the scent of bitter oranges dancing in the air, it is the bold taste of Campari blending with prosecco, it is the warmth of Neapolitan hospitality that wraps you while you sip your favorite cocktail. And it is in this unique atmosphere that the aperitif becomes a moment of sharing, of authentic sociability and discovery of unforgettable flavors.

From Chiaia to Vomero, from the historic center to Posillipo here are some small tips for an unforgettable cocktail/aperitif.

The secret cocktail bar of the real Neapolitan

In the heart of uptown Naples, on a small street adjacent to Piazza dei Martiri, we find this cocktail bar well known to the most demanding Neapolitans but unknown to the general public, "L'Antiquario", described as the secret bar.
Externally it has nothing of a bar, quite the contrary. The sign says "L'Antiquario" and in fact everything suggests that it really is, from the objects displayed in the window to the style of the entrance door but once inside it will be difficult to contain the feeling of amazement and wonder that will overcome you. You will be catapulted into an atmosphere from the '30s/'40s, with dim lights and excellent background music that will enhance your high quality aperitif. It is in fact ranked 3rd among Italian bars and 46th in the world ranking of the The World's 50 Best Bars competition.
